Hatikvah International Academy Charter School

• Hatikvah  International Academy Charter School is a dual-language charter public school in  East Brunswick, NJ, opening in September  2010 for grades K–2, adding a grade each year until it is a K-8 school.  Kindergarten will be offered as a full-day program. 
• Like any public school, Hatikvah will  be tuition-free. 
  

  Hatikvah’s Mission and Curriculum: 

  • Hatikvah’s mission is to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young citizens to promote a more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.    
  • Students will have an opportunity for  an in-depth study of a foreign language,  Hebrew. Research shows study of a foreign language at an early age correlates with higher academic achievement and SAT test scores as well as increased cognitive development and problem-solving abilities.
  • In addition to the New Jersey Core Curriculum, Hatikvah will utilize the
    International  Baccalaureate (IB) curricular framework, which  utilizes inquiry-based lessons and holistic learning, where concepts are examined across  the range of traditional subjects. This method of learning will challenge  your children to cultivate their creativity  and develop into innovators and risk-takers.
